When did CBIZ become a public company?
Republic Environmental Systems (Nasdaq: RESI) split from Republic Industries in 1995, and in May of 1996, announced plans to merge with CBIZ Surety Group (a private company). That merger was completed in October of 1996. Upon merging, the newly formed company became International Alliance Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: IASI). IASI changed its name to Century Business Services, Inc. (NYSE: CBZ) in December 1997 and finally changed its name once more to CBIZ, Inc. in August 2005.
Can I buy stock directly from the Company?
